We are taking the already existing ideas of networking dinners and take it to the next level with our unique Mouthfulness Method.
How does this work?
The dinners, where possible employers can meet unemployed youth from the Schilderswijk start with the unique experience of eye gazing. This means that an unemployed youth and a possible employer will sit across from each other, looking at each other’s eyes. The aim of this exercise is to create a real human connection that goes beyond stereotypes, categorisations and the feeling of separation. After this exercise, they will share a dinner in silence. When the meal is finished, there will be an opportunity to network and meet more employers and share the unique experience.
In the time period before the dinner there will be a four week training block, where the youth will receive both professional and personal skills, such as CV writing, but also music and art will play a role.
Throughout the whole process, the youth will be supervised and guided by their mentors.
After the dinner, the supervision by the mentor continues to ensure the maximum benefit for both youth and employers.
